The Blame Game

"When something bad happens the first thing you want to know is whose fault it is."

How true is this? Blame is never helpful and rarely gets the results we are searching and hoping for - whether that's with our parenting, teaching, personal or professional relationships.

Blame is a discharging of discomfort and pain, a powerful thought.

Whether it's someone blaming you for something or you blaming someone else it's usually because someone is feeling a difficult emotion that they don't feel comfortable talking about.

Blame - "one of the reasons we miss our opportunities for empathy" and as we know, empathy fuels connection, connection heals and helps make things better.

Brene Brown giving us food for thought as always.
